Wow its been like ages since i got back on the internet,
i had major troubles with my internet and computer.
I had to sell my old one and then i went to highschool to learn GameDesign
so i didnt had any time at all to play
Now i have a serious problem atm...
My laptop has Vista and i cant find any servers with vista 
So that brings me here...
How is everyone doing?
I'm doing pretty good i got plenty of time to make maps now
if u guys still need someone to make some maps or anything else, i'm up for it ^^
But i need someone to help me with my Vista problems...

how are you doing man?
glad you dropped by , we can use a helping hand at mapping!
im doing modeling now , and i figured out how to import and make it work.. its easy  so easy i almost never finish what i start.
about that vista stuff, maybe its your firewall ? is it a fresh unreal install ? is it 227f?

for the vista thing => no firewall problem and its 227 + fresh install ^^
so i dont really know what it could be :/
the other things uhm i dont think i lost my mapping skills...
well i have no idea actually... Ive been so bussy with modelling for school
that i didnt had any time at all to make maps but i hope it will run smooth again sooner or later |

try to run unreal.exe with windows XP compatibility..
and mapping skills, who cares? your the best, and i still suck 
and do you want to be part of the SGU team? or was you already part of it ? i kinda lost it..

i have no idea its been almost 2 years i think
Well like i said, i can make maps now so ill be glad to make some for you guys
what kinda maps? multiplayer maps? singleplayer? storyline maps?

As far as Vista goes, you could probably go to an FAQ? Mine doesn't have problems, though its the programs that sometimes dislike me :/ So it could just be a program problem, incorrect installation, bug... :/

Well i used to make maps for infiltration, not sure if thats still been played and/or my maps are still running on it

have you tried refreshing the maps? (right click in the maps selection area. You can use Refresh to see if any more maps are there, Ping This Map to check the ping of a selected map, or Ping All to check them all)

lol.... i know how to refresh the servers im not a noob
i searched for 3 hours yesterday to find out what the problem could be and tried several things:
-adding new masterservers
-changing stuff in the ini file
-changing settings in my firewall (which isn't even on but whatever)
-Reinstalling unreal => same problem
-Installing unreal gold => same problem
and i still get this:
Server Ping
5.78.174.21 9999
120.43.80.79 9999
and so on for the whole list
and no i CANT join any of them |

OH! You can't see any games at all? Yeah, that happened to me when I first installed it (after my computer deleted it >_> In short: Reinstall it. It works for me now :3

i did, 5 times already
downloaded headshots INI files
ive been on teamspeak with OMC members who have gone trough my files with me.
Ive installed exactly the same unreal on another stationary PC with all the same settings etc...
It finds every single server and i can join n play on em |
